Handmade University Class Policies
Registration and Payment Policy: All workshop registrations must be completed online through our website or via telephone. Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot in the workshop. We accept all major credit cards. Checks may be written out to Handmade U, LLC. Returned checks will result in an administrative charge of $25.

Class Cancellation Policy: We understand that things happen. If you are no longer able to attend the workshop please review options below:
- Cancellation 7+ business days in advance of class - 100 % refund
- Cancellation 2-6 days in advance - 100% credit
- No Show - No Refunds, No Credit
If the faciliator of the workshop has an emergency, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop in the same semester. Once rescheduled, if you can no longer attend, Handmade U will offer you credit towards a future class or a refund your class workshop fees
Snow / Bad weather closings: Handmade U believes that safety is a top priority. If the weather is bad, please check our website or give us a call to see if your class has been affected.
Class Arrival: Please arrive to the studio at least five minutes before class begins. Our exterior doors remain locked 24 hours a day. A staff member will let you in to the building. If you are running late, it would be helpful to text or call to let us know when you arrive.
Accessibility/ Access to Freight Elevator: Our studio is located on the 2nd floor. There are about 2 flights worth of stairs to climb. We can assist you with utilizing the freight elevator (which requires walking up 4 steps). Please let us know in advance of class if you need this service.
Supplies and Tools: Most classes will have all supplies and tools provided, it will be indicated in the class description if you need to bring supplies.
Media Release: Handmade U, LLC reserves the right to use photographs and videos from classes for promotional purposes. By attending our workshops, you agree to allow your image or your child's image to be used in such media.
Studio Etiquette: To ensure a positive experience for everyone, our studio owners, instructors, or operators reserve the right to reject any participant at any time, without liability or obligation to pay a refund, if they determine, in their sole and exclusive discretion, that a participant is disruptive to the experience or compromising the health and safety of other participants. We are committed to maintaining a safe and fun environment for all students. Please be kind and respectful to all other students and our studio staff.
