No experience needed — we provide all materials and instruction, so you can focus on enjoying the moment and making memories with friends.

Our Signature Craft Experiences

Handmade U offers four curated, hands-on experiences designed for adult celebrations and corporate events. Each workshop is guided, beginner-friendly, and includes all materials — so your group can relax, create, and enjoy the experience together.

The Candle Bar Experience

Pour your own custom candle using soy wax and fragrance blends. A hands-on experience that encourages creativity and conversation.

 

 

 

The Scent Bar Experience

Blend fragrance oils to create a signature perfume that’s uniquely yours. This sensory experience is calming, creative, and perfect for groups who love self-care with a personal touch.

 

 

The Gloss Bar Experience

Create custom lip glosses by mixing colors, scents, and finishes to design your perfect shine. Guests leave with multiple glosses they’ve made themselves — fun, social, and always a crowd favorite.

 

 

Vision & Collage Mug Experience

Part vision board, part design workshop. Guests create a personalized mug using words, images, and design elements that reflect their goals, intentions, or creativity — thoughtful and meaningful with a functional keepsake.

 

 


Pricing & What’s Included

Our signature private experiences are $399 for up to 12 guests.  

Each event includes:

  • All materials and supplies
  • Guided instruction from a Handmade U host
  • 2 hours of creative fun
  • 30 minutes for socializing, food, beverages, and other activities.
  • A handmade item for each guest to take home

Additional guests and custom options are available upon request.

Can we host Virtual Craft Parties? 

Distance doesn’t mean missing out on fun! Handmade U's virtual craft parties let you connect with friends, family, or colleagues anywhere. Perfect for team-building or corporate events, we ship all materials to participants, making it easy to craft together on Zoom or your preferred platform—right from home!

Can we host a craft party at your studio in Philadelphia

If you're in Philadelphia, HandmadeU Studio on Stenton Avenue offers a cozy space for craft parties. With room for up to 12 people and convenient parking, it's perfect for intimate, creative gatherings.

Can you travel to my office, home, or other off-site location?

We love to travel.  We have offered workshops in PA, DE, NJ,  NY, and TX.  There are additional travel fees for sites further than 20 miles, but we are excited to work with you to make it happen.  Don't hesitate to ask.  

We are a non-profit group with a small budget. Do you offer a non profit rate?

Absolutely, we offer not for profits a 15% discount on any party.

Can we set it up so that each individual submits payment for their supplies.

Yes, we are flexible, we can set up a listing on our website for your group and send you the link to share.

Can we purchase our own supplies?

We prefer to order supplies that we have worked with and tested to ensure the best possible outcome in our workshops.
